There;s something marvelous about the latest piece of fine automotive engineering requiring a block of wood and cable-ties to work properly.

To be fair, it heel-toes for you. This is for him. The car will do it better than the driver and get it right every time.

It can do this, yes, but it cannot recreate the thrill of slipping off the brake, missing the shift, grinding the gearbox, locking up the differential and swinging sideways into a sandtrap like real heeltoeing can.

lol'd pretty good at this. :D

Due to the various brake issues last session I'm also going to get some EBC Yellowstuff pads for the front.

I'd vote to get something else from another manufacturer. Hawk, Carbotech, etc. Also something with a heat range for racing instead of a compromise street/track pad. Should help out the overheating issues I'd think.

Have you found the race pads are usable on the street still? I don't mind some softness as I don't dadbrake on the road but if they barely work at all until they're heated it'd be a bit of a pain (Missing those carbon ceramics again).

Most aggressive I've personally tried is HP+ on the street, and I hated them. They were loud and dusted a shitload, though they would stop you fine even if they were cold. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't even consider compromise street/track pads. I'd buy a 2nd set of pads/rotors and swap them for track driving and swap back to street stuff and drive home.

That red looks awesome. What brand of paint did you use? In the US, people use Rustoleum or some sort of tractor paint for roll on jobs but it looks like you sprayed it.

Both bleed screws had siezed in place but some careful prying with the double spanner trick got them motivated out.

people still like things like this right?

Please explain your Shire magic tricks.

And yeah, that's cool. What paint did you use? I've heard that even powdercoating with high temp stuff will still get wrecked by on track temps. Hopefully it doesn't burn off immediately, they look pretty good at the moment.

I'm embarrassed to say that I've never rebuilt a caliper. I always just buy remans instead of buying a cylinder and a couple seals. Someday I'll take one apart. Maybe.
