Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger is a show made by the same crew that does the original Japanese Power Rangers(but it has no official connection, hence the "unofficial" part of the title), it's about a group of pathetic, nerdy, adult Power Ranger fans who gain the power to transform into Power Rangers and fight evil villains, in their imagination. It was pretty funny, and even had a much better costume for the main villain

I remember the show coming out and my friends were all laughing at how stupid it looked and I sort of wanted to see it but I was afraid they'd find out and call me a nerd. Then like 20 years later it was still on and I was like wtf. Are they going all big budget on this like the mutant turtles?
