No, there's no specific large dispute, GD/BD get tagged constantly but they're like brand names for smaller gangs. Small disputes and rivalries just continually boil over and it takes literally seconds to organize a few people to come with guns. There are constant solutions that you can come up with, but the city is broke as hell so every program ends up underfunded. Closing a bunch of schools and making young people commute a long distance for schooling didn't help anything.
