I received the Vive Wireless a few days ago and have been using it to play Skyrim with Natural Locomotion. It is so loving nice to just be able to turn however much you like.

Even though I have the transmitter quite high up (app. 2.2m) I do get the occasional signal jitter, but it doesn't happen often and I hardly notice it ingame.

Is the vive wireless adapter worth it?

I really like it. I only played Skyrim once way back when it came out, so I'm replaying it now in VR and it is really nice to just be able to turn all you like and not have that feeling of the cord touching you. You might consider getting a spare battery if you're going to play for long stretches of time, they charge quite slowly.

I bought a non-HTC 20,000 mAH quick-charge 3.0 battery that works fine and didn't cost $80.
