Something Else posted:I thought this story would've been more enjoyable as a piece of short fiction than a 2 hour movie The movie definitely could have used some trimming but I think it works best with the timing and delivery of an audiovisual experience. It does feel pretty bookish, though

They're sterile, and there are a couple points in the movie where they make a big deal about the possibility of intimacy and fertility even when you're turned into an animal I think they never specify the worst animal so you can imagine your own personal worst

Yeah I don't like human violence but I can deal with it. Scenes of dog  violence just make me thoroughly unhappy in a different way
