I have a hard time playing games as much, or as well, as I used to because the ergonomics are just too weird. Yeah, I also generally prefer the same sized face buttons of the SNES/PS/Xbox/DS school of controllers, but the feel of the Gamecube controller is really nice. I just hope that the NX has a normal controller again, because Nintendo's normal controllers are really nice, even the classic pro controller for the Wii.
