Watching Overwatch is how I imagine seeing other esports is like for the average person who doesn't play video games. I'm told that if you play the game it's possible to understand what's happening, but even if that's true there's still an inherent "can't see poo poo" factor. Even though League is still unavoidably impenetrable for someone unfamiliar, Riot has done a good job of at least making it clear when a player is pressing buttons as opposed to things seemingly randomly blowing up everywhere.

Speaking of Korean overlords, you guys got me to watch the HotS finals and I really enjoy how depressed the casters were that the Korean team won. The male caster literally moaned "OH NOOOOOOO" at the end of the winning fight.

I don't have a problem with rooting only for your team, the sad part is when the Koreans win and people start complaining about boring tournament, why even watch, pointless game etc. etc. It's as if Maple Leafs fans keep reminding you that hockey sucks whenever they lose. If you like bad teams, which pretty much everyone does, it's better to revel in the badness. When the caster went NOOOO a la Luke Skywalker it's like... what were you expecting
