The line where Jean Grey walks out of Return of the Jedi and says "we can all agree that the third movie always sucks", she's right. Both The Last Stand and Apocalypse can be considered the worst films of their series. Granted this is a lot more tolerable than The Last Stand, but the fact that Brian Singer ripped off a scene from Tails Gets Trolled is enough to show that his time is up. He may have given us the first real superhero movie years ago, but it's clear he doesn't know how to do the genre anymore. 3/5
