It's really up to you how you define it though, man. some people listen to anti flag and think it's punk, or afi or blink 182 or even stuff like Converge which I wouldn't call "punk" either. and then there are the million different sub-sub-sub genres. at the end of the day, even though i'm not the op, imo this is a non-denominational punk thread and you can post anything you think is punk (or punk-ish.) nobody should be a dick about what is and isn't punk, it's loving stupid and it also turns lots of people away from getting in to bands on the faster/more raw end of the spectrum.
