So I tried installing "Snap n' build". I installed it using mod organizer. I went in game and used the holotape. I have the new building pieces in my menu, but nothing will snap to the first piece I lay down. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a solution?

Kurui Reiten posted:Which part are you putting down? I've found it to be a little annoying at times, and a lot of the time things that aren't Snap'N'Build won't snap to... well... Snap'N'Build. You can try putting down a Foundation from the Residental section, and then seeing if a floor from the same section will snap on top of that. Well at first I tried wooden floors on the foundations in sanctuary. But it kept showing anything I wanted to snap on to my initial piece as being red. So then I tried a foundation, but the same thing happened: First piece was okay, but I couldnt attach a second. I only tried the the "real estate" pieces, not the base warehouse/greenhouse/bunker.

Ugh, I didn't see the update coming and now skse isn't working. Is there a way to roll back to a previous update of skyrim?

DJ Dizzy posted:I'm using Mod Organizer, and havent played in ages. Updated F4SE and everything, and now fallout 4 tells me to gently caress off with my mods whenever I try to continue my game. Also my load order is empty ingame. I had the same issue as you today. Came back, updated f4se, and now the game wont recognize any of my mods. If you find a solution let me know.

Just in case anyone was inspired to reinstall and mod this game because of the recent TV show, here's some things i found: 1. I could get Valdacil Item Sorting (VIS) to work outside my pipboy in DEF UI/DEF INV, but couldn't get it to work in the pip boy. It appears its no longer supported. I was able to get VIS-G Item Sorting to work though. Its a spinoff of the original. 2. If you're like me and can't figure out why all plant life is still dead 200 + years after the bombs dropped, I would recommend Boston Natural Surroundings. It adds in grass an trees without being "too much" in my opinion. I just started playing so I hope some of my old favorites still work.

boo boo bear posted:that was probably true at one point and might still be, but the person who put the list together has cranked out a bunch of compatibility patches and previs rebuilds ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/697340?tab=user+files ) over the last year. they're kind of a dick, but it looks like they've tried to solve the problems you mentioned. This is so much better than what I installed. I swear to god I spend more time modding than actually playing the game.

Leal posted:Man, that fallout tv series is good. Hey, maybe I should reinstall 4 and do some mods. Oh, whats that? They updated a game that is like 20 years old and broke everything? I watched the show, got inspired to reinstall, and the first thing I did before I even installed my first mod, was go to steam and change FO4 to update on game start. I figured they'd capitalize on the renewed interest by making an update which pushed paid mods. I don't follow the news, so I'm not sure what's in this new update, if they even tried pushing for paid mods, but I knew Bethesda well enough to avoid breaking my latest run.
