Kinda amazing OJ decided to continue to do high visibility crimes after he literally got away with murder. That's poor impulse control for you.

More well adjusted then you'd think.

it's not admissible as evidence

you could also say why didn't he take the stand if he's innocent? invoking the 5th amendment isn't the act of an innocent person

Ok that makes sense legally it couldn't be used as evidence, but couldn't they at least have brought it up in closing arguments ?

Also, there is tons of precedence that invoking the 5th is done by innocent people and with good reason so I don't think thats a fair comparison. I am not aware of the same precedence or legal reasoning for rich people suicidally fleeing from charges they are innocent of.

The admissibility of the car chase has loving nothing to do with the right against self incrimination. Swing snd a miss, goon armchair lawyer.

Also I watched a documentary on this recently and my only two thoughts were: (1) I was surprised there was nothing concrete to the suggest Nicole and Ron Goldman were loving and (2) I'd bang Ron's sister even today

they have something to do with each other in that

you can't tell a jury to infer that a man is guilty because of those actions

Yeah but shouldnt they have like... Pointed out immediately to the jury that the gloves being demonstrated were a size too small? I thought the pros introduced that item and then the defese happened to notice they were too small and ran w it ??

Having watched lots of legal dramas I can tell you what they should have done was yell 'objection!' then they could have told the jury about the glove being too small. That's how court works.

It's almost as though his psychological and emotional states had been heavily and permanently altered by decades of playing a neurologically traumatic sport.

I've said this before, and obviously I'm not a doctor, but if O.J. Simpson doesn't have CTE I would be completely flabbergasted.

It's funny that somebody rich like OJ Simpson could have the prosecution accused of tampering with and planting evidence and then get away with murder, but then somebody poor like Steven Avery could get actually framed for murder with planted evidence and lying witnesses and then get sent to prison for life.

Oh wait that's not funny it's the opposite of that. It's sad and angering.

quote:

It’s your typical hidden-camera show. Simpson would infiltrate some establishment, sometimes in disguise and sometimes not, needling customers to their breaking point before shouting, “You’ve been Juiced.”

lmao that's awesome though

quote:

Simpson goes to a used car lot in Las Vegas and attempts to sell a used white Bronco.
There’s a bullet hole in it. He autographs the Bronco right above it. His pitches to prospective customers read as if from a Saturday Night Live skit. “This is a collector’s item,” he says. “It was good for me. Got me out of harm’s way.”

E:
I was working in a mental hospital as an orderly (NO NOT A PATIENT) on the day the verdict came through. Everyone and all the residents were watching on the TV ln the rec room when they said not guilty...
A great cheer went up, and one black resident crowed, "That nigga got away with murder!"
Word.

Even my dear poor insane drug-addled nutcases knew he was guilty.
...
The defense ran out of crocks and had to switch to pumps and firehoses to dispense the bullshit.
