My middle school choir teacher was a scary Austrian lady who would pick religious music. Then she got in poo poo for making the kids sing hallelujah and so for the next few years had us sing Christian songs in African languages so the parents wouldn't know the songs were still about Jesus. Also she hated all the Asian kids and didn't learn our names (east and south)
