Jaskin - Crosby - Nyquist Kreider - Larkin - Sharp Zucker - Nelson - Brown Clifford - Shore - Gerbe (Czarnik) McDonagh - Martinez Pouliot - Garrison Merrill - Pesce (Forbort) Howard Hutton Demko Exposed: F: Zucker, Brown, Clifford, Gerbe D: Garrison, Merrill, Forbort G: Howard I'm protecting Sharp because we're doing it this year and I need him, but he's a UFA in the expansion year, and I would use that protection on Zucker instead. I'm not sure how we're playing this, but that'll effect my decision. I'm very worried about my defense, I feel like I might lose one of them and unless it's Merrill (it won't be) that will very negatively effect my team  Also, according to the expansion tool, Howard is not an auto-protect, which I thought he was, so  ?

Yeah, I protected Sharp because I was under the impression that we were doing expansion straight away, but if we're going to sim the first season for realism, I would let him go UFA

My mid-draft analysis of "Sidney Crosby and a bunch of guys" seems to still be pretty accurateTeemu Pokemon posted:Jaskin - Crosby - Nyquist Dmitrij Jaskin First Line Winger Larkin sucked at center and got moved off, Sharp is dead, Nelson and Nyquist are meh and play on butt teams. Updated lines are probably like: Kreider-Crosby-Nyquist Nelson/Larkin/Sharp all deciding who wants to play C least Clifford-Czarnik-Brown Zucker-Shore-Jaskin (Gerbe)

So I put all of these teams into Noted poo poo Game NHL17 (single season only unfortunately, couldn't do a BaGM because it wouldn't let me draft for every team) and here are the ratings for everyone's team. There were a handful of guys (mostly prospects) that weren't in the game, so I tried to give the team what I thought was an equivalent player. Yeah I spent like two hours updating everyone's lines and filling in the rest of the rosters when needed, then made the mistake of starting the sim without saving, I got to mid-November and the game locked up and I have to start all over again. I can't look at this screen anymore so I'll have to hold off on finishing up for a day or so
