This is probably a stupid post but I figure what better forum to post in.

I don't know if it's dumb or not but is there a good way to learn piano just to record ideas you have in your head down? Like a sketch pad?

I don't ever want to be a master of any instrument, I just want to be able to kind of capture what's in my head so I can be reminded later and reproduce it in a way that's closer. What's the best way of going about this?
