Paul is a douche and Mama J is kinda stuck with him at the moment. I really hope she starts a coup within the other teams to bounce him. That said, Mama J is in no good position either if she can't hold the :nono: fireworks together for longer than 10 days.

I cannot have a cutie patootie like Nicole get bounced this early but she still has a defeatist attitude when she loses :( Cory is a meathead and the dog groomer is an old slug but he was right about the sandcastle puzzle however no one wanted to own any authoritative position and that's a weakness in Nicole to step up and be a confident figure and rally her team.

Outside of James and Frank, the returns are on the weak side and each have teammates more than willing to send their poo poo packing even as a detriment although Frank only has to worry about that right now.

I dunno who might showmance... but I think Victor's "Rico Suave" routine will fall upon many deaf female ears and be met with CBS added 'record scratch' sound cues.

I predict Tiffani's non disclosure about being Vanessa 2.0 will haunt her while Cody 2.0 will be a benefit. Tiff missed an opportunity to come clean there and it's not like the other hamsters aren't on that trail. Mama J sniffed out the twins almost immediately and she dialed in on the Russo Ruse too.

I'm kinda rooting of the middle of the pack peeps. I like the bubbly traveling nurse but she could be just another "too soon" Helen. I also like the Nicole doppelganger... Michelle? (I'm gonna screw up names for at least another week).

The team HOHs serve a purpose to compete and not to throw (or at least not make it obvious).
Roadkill throws a spanner in that any rando could target anyone with impunity.

I like it.
Keeps 'em on their toes.
Even if the house can figure out whodunnit.

I agree that the pacing of this show was a bit stilted but it's the first one out of the chute.
They'll nail it down in the next couple of weeks.

Joeza's stupidity will be missed but maybe it'll send a message to Paul and Victor to quit being bravado dumbsticks.
Prolly not though, which will make their fall ever more sweet.

I don't mind the edit because I'm well-versed in Grodner and am hip to her ways.
She always downplays her darlings on the broadcasts.

Eventually, they'll have to storyboard Day's rampant paranoia and I think they succeeded a little bit in not piling it on too thick moving on. The structure is there... sort of.

Day is gonna 'Vonne her rear end out the door soon enough... just not this week.

Bridge could be an interesting HOH.
Paul is an automatic nom.

The real question is whether she'll put up a girl and I'm thinking no because they have the majority numbers

It all depends on how much Frank gets in her ear this week... Tiff might be in play.

I hope the Roadkill is won by an underdog just to shake poo poo up, the vets (especially Frank) are FAR too comfortable right now.

After 8 episodes of showing Frank in an absurdly positive light, it's a catastrophic failure on behalf of the editors to be forced to put in a "oh btw Frank is a piece of poo poo, and has been the whole time" supercut because it's become relevant to the game strategically.
The first week of broadcasts which equated to two real weeks of house time is always a sort of rush job to get some storyboards laid out there. There was no mention of Natalie and Victor hooking up and divorcing before the feeds even lit up and it doesn't really matter now because Victor bounced.

Frank's dickish behavior escalation has more to do with Frank sitting in a golden untouchable position for the last 3 HOHs. The exact timeline to the average viewer might be a little bit blurred but what's important is that it is out there and not buried like Evel Dick's entire season was.

Now that is has been addressed and Frank had a confessional about the rear end-slap he's well aware he's on notice publically.

Bad look Bridgette... bad look.
You just sold yer best friend out and that is glaringly apparent now.

I really hate that this Team Mode creates safety buffers but this dumb house can't put it together that it's because there is a buyback.
I'm sure they are expecting it but are doing no damage control for it.

Frank has really come into this game with a complete fortunate flip-flop. He was on the block for the entirety of his first season.
He has yet to feel any block burn thus far this season.

He's deffo working the room with what's presented but that doesn't excuse his slippery tact.

I'd rather Natalie survive because she's sweet if not a bit dingy.

I like that the edit shows she grazes like the cow she is.
Reddit can try and think she can gather up Frank if Bridge bounces but Frank ain't got time for small bottom feeding fish.
Plus, her titties ain't sittin' right.

The hand waving of Day, Z, Reddit and Paulie being constantly passive aggressive to Bridge is sad but what can you do?

Frank is sure to go and then the house will go full nuclear on poor Bridge.
At least Nat and James will be some small comfort during the strikes.
I don't want it to get worse but almost want it to just to show the nasty characters these assholes display and put it up front and center.

If Bridge or Frank wins the next HOH it would be glorious come uppance but for Frank there would need to be some special power from some mystery room we only keep hearing about.

The first article actually says it is confirmed from a reliable source that this will not replace the Summer seasons on CBS
This has never concerned me.
BB Propah has always been Summer fare and always will be.
It's not putting up monster numbers but it regularly hits #1 on the nights it airs.
Until that changes, Summer BB will still remain a 'thing'.

This experiment they are trying certainly harkens back to the fact that the new Head of Programming at CBS is a BB superfan since Day 1.
And CBS wants retained eyeballs on their All Access platform.

The All Access platform population most assuredly dips when Summer BB wraps and those numbers are beancounting tangible.
The new series of Star Trek being All Access only is not a fluke either.
CBS is taking a page from Netflix to create streaming content.

I dunno if BB19 is the answer but it will certainly whet some cat lady's whistles to stick around.

Welp, I guess the "Ocho Rios" controversy was just hot air.

Day had Ticket #8 and one of the travel posters in the house mentioned #8 in Spanish.

I'll be honest, when I saw Day in her track suit pre-eviction I was all "Oh, here we go... Day going back in!"

I'm pleasantly surprised the Golden Ticket wasn't that obvious.

Score one for Grodner... and coming from me that's saying something.

On another note, one of the RHAP podcasts from this last week (Sunday, I believe) had Matt Hoffman of The Brigade as a guest and he named Michelle as the most likely to turn into a #NoonanSpiral. It refers to BB11 contestant Michelle Noonan who appeared meek and cagey on her season and after the show spiraled into drug addiction and failed marriage and softcore pornography and awful boob jobs and mental health destruction after the show. Combined with the weird edit BB18 Michelle got with the apples segment tonight I cannot unsee his comparison. When she gets out and discovers all of her former safe and sacred internet haunts like Reddit and SurvivorSucks have turned on her completely she going to have a complete emotional and unfortunate mental meltdown.

I am categorically against the internet backlash poo poo that the cat ladies and really awful people seem to get off on with destroying ones character simply because they appeared on a dumb teevee show but I also cannot help but agree with Matt's assessment (an assessment he made before she ever entered the house). Nutritionist Michelle AKA Reddit still has "nut" in her title and I hope she finds solace after BB rather than spin out like a a former contestant with her namesake has done :(

Nicole deserves jack loving poo poo for how she's playing humping this season.
