If you like horror games, you probably already know what SIREN is, and what happens in it. It's an excellent horror game, and the first entry in a trilogy. The first two games were on the PS2, with the second game being a direct sequel to the first. The third game (SIREN BLOOD CURSE) was on the PS3, and was a reimagining of the first. Blood Curse may be the more well known game, due to it being made more accessible to wider audiences, and due to it being available digitally on PSN. If you wanted to play the original SIREN, you had to look for a used copy, and still have a PS2 available to play it on.

Things are a little different now. SIREN was recently released digitally on the PS4, so it's much easier and quicker to buy the game. Aside from being displayed in a higher resolution though, the game has been unchanged, so it's still the incredibly difficult and obscure experience that PS2 players remember. It's the type of game where a new player will play for a few minutes, and turn it off out of pure frustration. You have to really enjoy horror games to stick with it through that frustration. For anyone else? You're probably better off watching an LP.

If you have already played SIREN (or watched an LP of it before), I would ask to keep the thread spoiler-free. It may be a bit difficult, due to the amount of information revealed in any single video being very small, but please don't mention anything that hasn't been seen in a video yet. If you haven't played SIREN? Speculate away! It'll be a while before we get any concrete answers.

SUMMARY OF THE GAME'S TIMELINE

**spoilers ahoy**

684 A.D.
- Datatsushi crashes on Earth, and is eaten alive by the starving Hanudan villagers. As it lays dying, it casts a curse upon the village, granting Hisako Yao both eternal life and her life's purpose to resurrect the alien.

1976: 00:00
- Tamon Takeuchi's parents are killed in an earthquake.

A few days ago: 16:30
- Kei Makino is given a letter from Shiro Miyata, from the Kajiro family stating that it's time for the ceremony. Kei is frightened that he will fail, and Hisako Yao comforts him.

Yesterday: 09:00
- Kyoya Suda explores the woods by Hanuda and comes across Miyako Kajiro smashing something with a rock. Miyako runs away with her dog.

Yesterday: 23:00
- Kyoya witnesses a strange ceremony in the woods. He inadvertently interrupts it, and runs away. Kyoya is pursued by a cop, which ends with Kyoya hitting the cop with a small truck.

Day 1: 00:00
- A strange siren is heard, the cop stands back up and shoots Kyoya, who falls off the nearby cliffside.

Day 1: 02:00
- Kyoya wakes up in the crimson Mana River, healed from his bullet wound. He freaks out and runs across Hisako, who teaches him about sightjacking. Kyoya then ignores what Hisako says to run off and find a lost letter.
- Tamon and Yoriko Anno are confused as to what's happened to the village, and walk off to explore. Tamon shoots a Shibito down a well. Tamon also climbs a fire tower and hears a voice coming from the town elementary school.
- Reiko Takato and Harumi Yomoda are trapped in the elementary school, and manage to find a way out after discovering that the Principal has become a Shibito. But not before unlocking the fire exit in the gym.

Day 1: 03:00
- Shiro wakes up in the middle of a wooded area. He's shocked to see a big hole in front of him, with bloody footprints leading away from it. He finds a Nurse's shoe in a bush, seemingly recognizing it. Shiro then escapes the area.

Day 1: 04:00
- Risa Onda is overwhelmed by what's been happening in Hanuda, and is startled to see a house in front of her that wasn't there before. She escapes the oncoming Shibito, but not before digging a hole in the garden and finding a talisman engraved with the mana cross and the name "Takeuchi."

Day 1: 05:00
- Kei is wandering around in confusion, not understanding what's happened. So confused is he, he wets a towel down and puts it in a freezer. He also finds Hisako's veil, but no Hisako to go with it.

Day 1: 07:00
- Kyoya and Hisako have made it to the town church. Upon hearing a scream from outside, Kyoya runs off.
- Miyako's dog dies. Kyoya comes by and tells Miyako to come with him. The two walk off.
- In the church, Hisako is met by Tomoko Maeda's parents, who are frantically looking for her.
- Risa runs into Shiro, who thinks she's Mina at first. The two head off to the hospital to try to find Mina. Shiro uses a frozen towel with a piggy bank to distract a cop, and finds Kyoya's student ID.

Day 1: 08:00
- Kyoya and Miyako run into Jun Kajiro, Miyako's brother. Miyako knocks Jun out with a big stick, and tells Kyoya to come with her. Kyoya takes the scenic route and finds the grave of someone named Takeuchi.
- Akira Shimura first encounters Shibito at Gojaku Peak, and escapes after shooting them a lot.

Day 1: 10:00
- Risa and Shiro arrive at the Miyata Clinic, a building that disappeared 27 years ago. Risa briefly sees Mina through a window.

Day 1: 11:00
- Naoko Mihama is upset at not meeting up with her film crew. Akira walks by and mentions Yaobikuni, who hasn't aged in all these years. Akira asks Naoko if she wants to live forever like that and walks off.

Day 1: 12:00
- Yoriko's thirsty and wants to drink some red water. Tamon tells her not to do that. Tamon walks off to explore, and tells Yoriko not to move until he comes back.
- Kei has encountered Tomoko wandering about alone. The two of them reach the edge of the village, and find that the outside world has been replaced by a red ocean. They see some of the Shibito walking out into the ocean. Kei and Tomoko are separated after being shot at, and Tomoko runs off. Kei finds Tomoko's student ID, but Tomoko herself is nowhere to be found.

Day 1: 16:00
- Akira stands on top of the fire tower, and after dropping a faded photo, he sees Yoriko being chased by Shibito. He shoots the Shibito down, and the two of them run out of the valley together, which for some reason they need to do in 1 minute and 55 seconds. In the middle of this, Yoriko finds Akira's photo on the ground. The photo is of a few men and a child, and Yoriko recognizes the child as being Tamon.

Day 1: 17:00
- Yoriko and Akira stand at the edge of the village, looking out at the red ocean. Akira realizes that there is no escape from Hanuda, and shoots himself.
- Tomoko, who has been hiding in the Hirunotsuka shrine ever since being separated from Kei, distracts some Shibito with money and escapes from the area within 1 minute and 55 seconds.

Day 1: 18:00
- Kyoya and Miyako take shelter in the abandoned house. Miyako promises that she won't let Kyoya turn into one of "them", and goes to sleep.

Day 1: 19:00
- Kei arrives at the Miyata Clinic. Risa notes the resemblance between Shiro and Kei, asking if they're twins.
- Naoko realizes that she's been walking in circles for hours. She comes across Gojaku Peak and shoots a whole bunch of Shibito and pushes a mine cart on them.

Day 1: 20:00
- Yoriko may have drank some red water. Tamon comes back and tells her to only do what he says. Tamon then finds Yoriko's lost student ID.

Day 1: 21:00
- Tomoko comes across Akira's corpse, and runs in fear. She encounters Hisako, who comforts her, and tells Tomoko that her parents are waiting for her back at the church. The two walk off together.

Day 1: 22:00
- Naoko enters the elementary school through the now-unlocked fire exit, but finds that the door can't be opened from the inside. She proceeds to shoot a bunch of Shibito and escapes, but not before finding a book of Hanudan folk tales in the library.
- Risa explores the Miyata Clinic, and encounters Mina, who has become a Brain Shibito. Risa escapes her sister, and sounds an alarm alerting Kei and Shiro to the danger, but not before finding a strange relief of angels. Before this, Kei and Shiro have a conversation about what's going on in Hanuda.

Day 1: 23:00
- Kei brandishes a pipe to fight Mina, but backs down out of fear. Mina approaches Risa, but Shiro throws a liquid on Mina that burns her. She runs away, and Shiro gives chase.
- Reiko and Harumi found shelter in a shed in Karuwari, but leave upon hearing Shibito nearby. Reiko lights four lanterns, resulting in four balls of light rising from the lanterns and disappearing into the night sky. In an attempt to get Harumi through the guarded exit of the valley, Reiko hides her in a cart that a Shibito starts to move, but the sound of the siren causes Harumi to jolt suddenly, alerting the Shibito to her presence. To save her, Reiko uses a lighter to blow up a tanker of gasoline, and herself with it. Harumi leaves on her own.
- Ayako Kajiro threatens Miyako with a scythe, swinging into a wall. Ayako scolds Miyako for not doing her job as a sacrificial lamb, and blames her for everyone disappearing. Miyako thinks that Ayako doesn't know what's going on.

Day 2: 00:00
- As Risa and Kei wait in the Miyata Clinic for Shiro to return, Mina surprises Kei and clubs him over the head, knocking him out. Mina presses her face against Risa's, and the twins share some kind of vision.
- Akira, after being dead for around seven hours, stands back up. He realizes that there is no escape from Hanuda and begins to laugh as he turns into a Shibito.
- Shiro is attacked by Risa, who has turned into a Shibito. He continues to search the Miyata Clinic for Mina, who he eventually finds and knocks out, but not before unlocking a bathroom door and pulling a wooden stake out of a corpse. He also uncovers a secret underground operating room beneath the hospital.
- Kyoya groans in his sleep as the sound of the siren echoes. Miyako cuts her hand, as well as Kyoya's, and presses their palms together. Miyako says that her blood is a pact of eternal salvation, and is sorry that she has to do this, but she has no choice.

Day 2: 01:00
- Kyoya and Miyako are woken by the sound of Shibito in the house. They escape to the outside, though Miyako loses a tiny doll she had been carrying. Kyoya finds a bottle of sake and a scythe that has been sunk into a wall.

Day 2: 03:00
- Naoko slowly walks into a pool of red water, chanting "eternal youth" as she does so. She disappears under the surface.

Day 2: 04:00
- Kei rushes into the hospital's underground operating room upon hearing screams coming from there. In the room, he finds Risa and Mina horribly cut up on the operating tables, and Shiro seated in front of them. Shiro stomps on a small moving thing hidden underneath a cloth. Shiro gives Kei his medical findings from dissecting the Onda sisters, claiming that he discovered the secret of everlasting life. Kei, repulsed, calls Shiro insane and leaves the room.

Day 2: 06:00
- Hisako stands at the shore of the crimson sea, and a strange object washes up near her feet. She picks it up, and a large beam of light comes down from the sky. At the bottom of the beam is a woman that looks like a negative image of Hisako.
- Kei witnesses a large beam of light extending from the sky down to the village. He falls to his knees in despair.
- Tomoko sees strange sights around her: tiny, angelic beings and colors in the sky. She encounters some Shibito who do not attack her, including Naoko, who only wants to be looked at. Tomoko arrives at the church, where her parents have been waiting. Her parents are horrified to see that Tomoko has become a Shibito, and she walks away into the darkness, desolate.

Day 2: 07:00
- Kyoya and Miyako see the large beam of light in the distance. Miyako panics at this sight, only saying "it's coming." Kyoya proceeds to find a nearby Brain Shibito and bludgeons it, and along the way electrocutes the cop, who has now become a flyer. Kyoya takes the cop's gun.

Day 2: 09:00
- Miyako anxiously reveals to Kyoya that the village is trapped in another dimension, from which there is no escape. Kyoya comforts her, assuring that they'll find a way out somewhere. Jun appears with a rifle and shoots Kyoya in the chest, who then falls off the nearby cliffside.

Day 2: 10:00
- Tamon reveals to Yoriko that he was born in Hanuda, and raised there until his parents were killed. A sniper shoots Yoriko, who falls from the bridge she and Tamon are standing on. As Tamon tends to Yoriko, she gives him Akira's photo, asking Tamon if it's him in the picture. Unable to help Yoriko, Tamon goes after the sniper, which is revealed to be Akira. Akira, despite being a Shibito, recognizes Tamon. Tamon also recognizes Akira, who is one of the men in the photo.
- After shooting Kyoya, Jun attempts to take Miyako away. Hisako appears at that moment, and tells Miyako that someone wonderful is waiting for her. Both Miyako and Jun appear afraid of Hisako.

Day 2: 11:00
- Yoriko stumbles a few steps from where she had fallen from the bridge, before collapsing. At the same time, Kyoya stumbles into the river bed as well, and collapses from his wounds. Immediately afterward, Shiro spots the two of them from the bridge stairwell.

Day 2: 15:00
- Harumi, now on her own, has hidden in the abandoned house to get some sleep. However, she's awakened by the sound of Shibito in the house, who turn out to be Tomoko and her parents. Harumi sneaks by them to escape the house, stopping along the way to take Tomoko's toy monkey, as well as finding the doll that Miyako dropped. As Harumi attempts to leave the yard through the front gate, she encounters Reiko, now a Shibito. Harumi is able to escape from Reiko, and escapes into the wilderness.
- Miyako experiences a vision of Datatsushi being eaten alive in 684 A.D., from the perspective of the alien god.

Day 2: 16:00
- Shiro has taken Yoriko and Kyoya back to the Miyata Clinic. Yoriko awakens, with an IV in her arm connected to a red bag. Shiro says he isn't sure why he did this, and leaves. Yoriko is confused by Shiro's behavior, but both she and Kyoya are alive.

Day 2: 18:00
- Tamon searches the Miyata Clinic and comes across Yoriko's broken glasses in the hands of Mina, after coming across an old photo album which has a picture of Hisako, who looks the same as she does in the present day.

Day 2: 19:00
- Hisako lays flowers around Miyako, who is lying motionless in a chamber within the Nest. Hisako says that she has been waiting for so long that she forgot who she was, but she remembers now, and the wait is over.

Day 2: 20:00
- Kyoya and Yoriko return to Arato, where they find a massive, sprawling wooden structure has been built over and through the town. They use a saw to open an entryway into the Nest, but not before breaking a gate in the sewers.

Day 3: 00:00
- Harumi makes her way out of the Nest, after utilizing wacky hijinks such as upside-down signs and a laughing bag. After a close encounter with the school principal, she ends up in Hanuda's central intersection.
- In the center of the Nest, Hisako completes the ceremony to summon the alien god, incinerating Miyako to do so. She also incinerates Ayako for good measure, telling Jun that they "don't need any more." To Hisako's surprise, the god behaves erratically, flying and swooping through the chamber. By coincidence, Kei, Tamon, Yoriko, and Kyoya all arrive in the chamber at the same time.

Day 3: 02:00
- Kyoya and Miyako sit in a green grassy field under a bright blue sky. Miyako says that she sensed that Kyoya had a much warmer aura than the villagers, and wishes that they would all just disappear. Miyako vanishes, and the sky darkens.

Day 3: 03:00
- Tamon, Kyoya, and Kei wake up in another level of the Nest, in a pool of red water. Tamon and Kyoya make their way out of the room they woke in, but Kei is in no condition to move, as he is apparently having a breakdown. Tamon and Kyoya split up, and both individually make their way to the gate to the Nest's core, which is guarded by snipers. Tamon disables the lights, and Kyoya hears Miyako's voice, telling him to use her eyes. Kyoya is suddenly able to see the auras of the nearby Shibito, and is able to walk through the pitch darkness to the core.

Day 3: 07:00
- Kei and Shiro run into each other in Hanuda's central intersection. Shiro confesses to Kei that he was always jealous of him, and that he felt inferior due to Kei being selected to be the village's spiritual leader. Shiro says that he's exiting the stage, and that he doesn't want to become a monster. Kei's eyes widen as a gunshot is heard, and Shiro's flashlight falls to the ground.

Day 3: 09:00
- Kyoya, unable to find Miyako in the Nest, encounters Kei. Kei gives him one of the Uryen, telling Kyoya to erase everything. Kei says that he also has a job to do, and walks away.

Day 3: 12:00
- Kei, armed to the teeth, shoots a bunch of Shibito in Arato, including Akira (now a flyer) and a Brain. He then descends into the well, where he finds crates full of explosives.

Day 3: 16:00
- Kei arrives at Gojaku Peak, and makes his way to the nearby floodgates.

Day 3: 18:00
- Kyoya wanders the Nest, and encounters Hisako. Hisako tells him that he can't wander about alone, and asks what he's holding. A torrent of red water breaks through the nearby wall and blasts the both of them.
- Tamon, somewhere in the Nest, hears Yoriko calling to him, though she looks and sounds strange. The alien god appears between them, but before anything can happen, a torrent of red water breaks through the nearby wall and blasts all of them. Part of the roof collapses, exposing the alien god to sunlight, who then bursts into flames.
- Kei, encountering the Onda sisters at Gojaku Peak, stabs Risa into the ground with a stake, and buries Mina in a mine explosion. He uses the explosives he found to blow a hole in the floodgates, releasing a torrent of red water. At the bottom of the lake, he finds townspeople who have been resisting the call of the siren since 1976, who have been reduced to wretched forms living a life of endless pain. Kei vows to end their suffering, and does so by using the Uryen to create a pit of blue fire which destroys the mud people. He sees Risa and Mina in the flame, calling for Shiro. It's revealed that "Kei" is actually Shiro, who took on Kei's identity after shooting him. Shiro staggers toward the firey pit, and falls in.
- Yoriko's strange appearance was only a hallucination of Tamon's, due to him starting to change into a Shibito. Yoriko is fine, due to Miyako's blood. She then falls through the floor.

Day 3: 20:00
- Kyoya makes his way to the Mirror Pool at the center of the Nest, and sees Miyako in its reflection. Miyako guides Kyoya's hand to touch the pool, and as he does so, Kyoya vanishes into it.

Day 3: 22:00
- Tamon regains consciousness somewhere in the Nest, and hears voices calling his name from the darkness. He walks in the direction of the voices. As he does so, he comes across Naoko and Reiko, who have transformed into inhuman forms. After overcoming them, Tamon finds Shiro's clothes on the ground, burned into ashes. He continues on, and eventually finds his childhood home, still standing.

Day 3: 23:00
- Tamon enters his childhood home, and finds his parents inside, who look the same as the day of the earthquake. Tamon is overcome with emotion, and hugs his parents while crying.
- Kyoya appears in the Inferno, and finds Hisako caring for Datatsushi. Kyoya has a sniper duel against Jun, and destroys him with the Uryen. Kyoya takes the Kajiro family sword, the Homuranagi. Kyoya fights Datatsushi, ending it with decapitating the alien god with the sword.
- Following the death of Datatsushi, Hisako's hair turns white, and she collapses to the ground.
- Hisako picks up the god's head, and falls into a time warp. She goes back to time to Day 2 - 06:00, and gives the head to the Hisako of that time. Meanwhile, Harumi is almost caught in the Nest by the Principal, but she is saved by Reiko, who hurls both herself and the Principal off of the Nest. Harumi faints, but is found by a shadowy figure.

X days later: 00:00
- Kyoya, armed with the Uryen, the Homuranagi, a rifle, and a bandolier of grenades, walks into a part of the village teeming with Shibito. Kyoya lifts the Uryen, and balls of blue fire rain down from the sky, burning the Shibito. Kyoya rushes forth with the rest of his weaponry to kill the now vulnerable Shibito.

X days later: 04:00
- Kyoya surveys the village, the Shibito are now eradicated. Yoriko bursts into the Takeuchi home, and smacks Tamon's parents (actually mud people) with a bat. She drags Tamon out of the house. Harumi wanders back into the living world, the wreckage of the village all around her, as a helicopter can be heard flying overhead.

The Council, as much as anything else, led to my drinking problem.
Normally I'd be put off with the graphical style that's going on here with the "projected face" look, but it really works here in that it makes everything a little unsettling.

this is bar none my favorite horror game series and it even beats out silent hill for the most part, because it's really consistent throughout and it's japanese devs actually making a game in a setting they're probably super familiar with

also, yeah, i think the updated graphics kinda make the technique show its age a little bit, but it's used REALLY well in ways that'll be obvious as the lp goes on

As soon as I saw this thread, my mind immediately went to the faces, especially... Love this game, definitely needed a new, prettier LP.

Is there a link to that website in the game manual or something? Or is it something the investigative people can find by following some obscure series of clues? Nevertheless, it's always neat when games do the whole alternative reality thing.

I'm very excited that this game is getting played again. When the last LP died off I was rather sad. This game's great even if the puzzles are borderline impossible to figure out without a guide.

The voice acting can be hammy, but it really has its charm. And honestly, many of the VA's for the English speech really do give it their all.

God, I loved Forbidden Siren. The progression and general goal direction is a bit wonky, but you really hit the nail on the head that you do have to enjoy horror games to take your time with each level.

Actually, I'm surprised that these older PS2 games are getting re-releases so readily. I should maybe look into getting a newer Playstation.

this series is probably a prime example of why let's plays are good, because while it's not impossible the game is straight up something that's better watched than played unless someone can get past the dated controls and weirdly obtuse game objectives. not to mention that it's actively pretty difficult

not that people shouldn't buy it if they think it'd interest them, just that all the good parts of the game could be wrapped up in more bullshit than someone is willing to put up with.

Add me to the number of people bummed by the last LP's demise. FS is possibly the most frightening game serie to me, just because of how it's relentless in making you feel like a hunted animal.

Oh my word. I'd love to take this game seriously, but it lost all pretense at horror the moment the first voice actor opened his mouth. It's a bit of a shame, because the rest seems pretty atmospheric.

"Oh Toe-moe-koe! Where arrr yoo Toe-moe-koe?!"

Yeah, the apparent need to dub everything into English - even for example native Japanese characters in a native Japanese setting - is never more frustrating than it is here. The atmosphere in Siren is absolutely perfect... until someone opens their mouth. If game publishers/devs would just provide the original language with subtitles as an option...

I watched the old LPs of Siren 1 and 2 back in the day, and managed to get past the appalling voice acting to really enjoy them. The Siren games are an amazing experience. I seem to recall that Siren 2 actually had Japanese voice acting with subtitles - and it was an immeasurable improvement.

I tried watching the more recent LP of Siren a little while ago and couldn't get past the voice acting, unfortunately. Just stopped the video right there, when the first character spoke up. I'm going to try again here though, because I really do love the Siren games. (To watch, at least; I agree with others here that I probably wouldn't want to play them myself.)

Regarding the voices, they never bothered very much, I don't know why. I guess I'm not hard to satisfy on that account.

Nope, received a European release (the series is called 'Forbidden Siren' over here) with a dual audio soundtrack. The second one never got a US release at all for some reason, which is unfortunate, since it improves on the game immeasurably.

the voices are sorta goofy but it's the kind of thing that grows on you over time, and the rest of the game seriously makes up for it in the creepy department

I hope they rerelease Siren 2 as well.

i don't have high hopes since they'd have to do an official english translation, since it was never released outside of japan i think

I've been sitting here for 5 mins trying to think of a joke to make but I just realised the animators of Mass Effect already did it for me

Oh hey, I saw you post the first part on your youtube channel and wondered if you were going to start a thread for this.

This is one of those games that, yeah, I agree just work best as an LP. Because I got to the...third? playable character and his mission infuriated me with its difficulty.

Readers at home who don't know: There's not really anything like checkpoints in this game. You can and will be killed in a heartbeat by some enemies, and that means repeating the whole level, and some of them are much longer than the ones we've seen thus far. If you make a mistake or get surprised by something, you are going to have to do it all over again.

There's something else that baffles and infuriates me about this game, but that is spoiler territory. Despite that, this is really one of the most fascinating games in the world and I wish there were more like them. They made an episodic remake of the original game for the PS3, as I recall, but I don't think they're really doing anything with it these days. It's a franchise that I'd like to see continue.

The glow is a guide, my friend. Though it falls to you to avert catastrophe, you will never fight alone.
The shibito are astounding at being fantastically loving creepy and at times terrifying. I'd love to elaborate more, but we need to see more of the game first, I think.

Exaggeration is to paint a snake and add legs.
Ever since I watched Egomaniac's LPs, I've loved the Siren games to pieces, but never played them myself. Now that this one's on the PS4, I thought, "Oh, I'll play along with SGF's LP! That will be fun!"

I died about six times in Kyoya's second stage trying to get that darn key without the shibito noticing me.

This... will be an experience.

I'm currently in chapter 3 myself and can't wait for the LP to continue. Though I'm playing Blood Curse I can't wait to see how the original cast plays out.

I'm not saying that I'm Batman. I'm just saying that... Oh, wait, yes I am. Yes, I'm Batman.
Siren is, without a doubt, the personification of survival horror in every sense of the term. I first found it right after I picked up Fatal Frame 2, and it's the game that really sold me on the whole survival horror genre. I especially like the part where they blow up San Francisco.

I kid. But really, it's an awesome game. And even if it's balls hard, you should pick up a copy and try it for yourself for the thrill.

Siren is probably the hardest game I've ever played where it was designed that way rather than difficult due to being broken, etc.

I've known about Siren for years and while I do enjoy survival horror games I never wanted to played it just because as previously stated I always heard it was so ridiculously and frustratingly obtuse that it would make Roberta Williams jealous. But that's what LPs are good for.

Does Siren 1 have any playables like the blind guy from Siren 2?

I'm glad to see this game being played! I've only ever seen snippets of the early game, so hopefully this time I can see it through to the end.

After the first (fantastic) LPs he did like a decade ago by now, he briefly had a thread up a while back to re-LP the games with actually-decent video quality + if I remember correctly he had a bunch of supplemental things planned that would be cool if they were posted about in this thread. I hope at the very least stuff like (very minor spoiler) the conversations between NPCs that you have to sit around for ages to listen to get covered in some way, it was one of my favorite little things that came up throughout the series.

BIG PANIC?
I had this game as a kid. It was too damned scary and too damned difficult and I never got anywhere in it, but it still managed to leave a huge impression on me.

You convinced me to grab the PS4 repackaging and give it a shot, and I made it further in one sitting than I ever did as a dumb kid. Felt pretty good! Really looking forward to the rest of the LP, I think this game's a great fit for your style.
