I had a pit bull that had never shown any signs of violence and I too believed they were misunderstood victims. He was sweet three year old dog that would play with anyone, human or animal, and had never shown any signs of aggression until he ripped the throat out of two my moms dogs' necks, left the third dog near death, and broke into the rabbit and chicken coops leaving everything covered in blood. what I'm saying is shoot all pit bulls and also the parents and the neighbors

Millions of Crows posted:You can own a pit bull or be a sane, non-hopeless trash person but not both. What does anyone need a pit bull for anyways? Get a rottwieler if you need a big threatening dog. I've known rotties to be loud and scary but never actually attack anyone. They drool and fart more than they bite, while once a month a pit mauls or kills someone. They're the AR15 of dogs. Or a bull mastiff. Looks terrifying but they're too dumb to ever actually do anything unless you train them to.

Flesh Forge posted:mastiffs are literally bred to kill people, and they are routinely crossed with pitbulls to make the offspring larger and more prone to violence towards humans, just fyi Really? Are they crossed with pitbulls because they aren't normally aggressive enough on their own? I'm going to sound like a pit bull owner here but I've literally never seen or heard of a bull mastiff that wasn't a gigantic lazy puppy.
