how is hawaii doing these days anyway? and like, what makes hawaii not in terrible crisis when ostensibly it's much the same as puerto rico except anything shipped there has to go way farther out? cause yeah puerto rico's hosed hardcore and the slash to minimum wage sounds more likely to just drive away everyone else who is working. i guess we get to see once and for all if the recurring republican myth of 'our economy would be in so much better shape if we just abolished the minimum wage and made it a nightmare for workers to get paid, at all!' can continue to perpetuate
