A lot of the comments being posted in here aren't even making sense. Have you people actually been playing the game or just read inflammatory blogs and forums? The transition has been really smooth for my local meta of about 16 regulars. There were no big surprises anywhere. We've just kept on playing this whole time.

I've played 5 games. The new version will take some getting used to but what really gets my dander up is some of this stuff that's come up screams 'they lied about 3 years playtesting and this is something of a rush job' which is annoying when I've just bought cards yesterday and some of them already need replacing.

I'm not ready to quit or something silly like that, but I'm not very stoked with what they've put out, so far.

If I wanted to get back in, what looks like the default stuff for Khador these days? I have a lot of random stuff but most of it is from MK1/early MKII. I'd like to use Butcher2 or Sorscha because those are the two casters I have painted up, but I do have Vlad 2, Karchev and Irusk somewhere. I'd also enjoy it if the Behemoth was at all viable since I have spent about 60 hours painting one.

Off the top of my head things that I like so far in Mk3 Khador:

The Butchers
The Vlads
The Irusks
pZerkova
Strahkov
pSorscha

Behemoth
Juggernauts
Berserkers
Ruin

FA:U Doom Reavers
Winter Guard Rifle Corps
Winter Guard Rocketeers
Kayazy
Being able to run Brun & Lug
Reinholdt/Madelyn/Sylys being tough to choose between.

Undecided on Uhlans, Spray Ponies (pricey af), IFP and MoW. But I tend to either go Jack heavy or Doomie heavy, never really cared for any MoW other than Demo Corps who got worse, imo. Haven't really toyed with too many of our solos yet.

Honestly you could just run Juggernaut spam with some moderate support and you'd probably do well with the right casters. Destroyers with Harkevich are real now too, apparently, but I haven't gotten there yet.

I am not sure which will be more shocking: If they don't errata it or if they errata it anytime within the next 6 months.

I think they're worried about all the cards that might have to be replaced and the playerbase flipping out this close to release being some serious egg on their face, so they're doubling down on the 'working as intended' bs. But I can totally see them coming out with some dumb double speak about why they need to errata it sometime later in the year.

I think the legit critique of pp right now is they are acting like baby primadonna designers who can't ever admit fault. They started the narrative of "three years of playtesting" and are so committed to it they can't own up to their obvious mistakes.

I don't think it's that I think it's that they've backed themselves into a corner by playtesting it in house for "3" years, etc coupled with the fact that they've got this new regular errata release. They missed some things, which is fine, but if they admit they really borked this one up it looks more and more like they did the alpha testing in house and are letting us pay to beta test it. Personally, assuming that's the case, I'd be fine with that if they were open about it.

Telling people roughly 40 cards or however many are gonna be included in the next errata pack within a week of this release just looks bad. So I see it as damage control not them being prima donnas.

I'm mostly sympathetic to their situation I just don't respect anything other than a mea culpa when something goes wrong.

Hey khador players, how are doomreavers faring for you in mk3? Do you find the escort useful? Do you always run them with fenris? Or do you find other ways to give them pathfinder a lot more efficient (irusk battle plans, Saxon, etc)?

With all the shooting that seems to be cropping up I'm hesitant but they seem like they've gotten a lot better.

I haven't run a list with the escort cause they're so freaking expensive at 13 points already, adding more into that is rough. I almost never run them with Fenris and probably will continue to not. Once I learned in Mk2 that you can always measure melee range it got a lot easier to not need Silence.

So far the only Mk3 game I've won was with V2 and Doomie spam. I keep getting my caster's shot off the board. loving ret.,

I haven't played WMH in a while, but I am curious about how Mk3 is treating the Mercenaries. How does Ashlynn look? Did Roulette survive, or did we get another way to piss people off to compensate?

Mercs seemed to get a serious buff between the overall move to improve jacks as well as removing contracts. Now Ashlynn can run with Kayazy Eliminators and Forgeguard and whatever else. Her feat's still the same last time I checked. One of the Magnuses looks great and Madhammer is kind of amazing.

Nic Freeman or whatever the main merc guy's name is says he has yet to lose a match with Cephalyx even doing some sort of shark tank thing trying to play into bad matchups.

Also, Fiona + WrongEye is lmao. Roll 2 dice and drop the low on her feat turn in range of his Starcrossed.

The two biggest douchebags at my store are two ultra casuals. One has played a total of 3 games, tops, but lectures the guys who go to LVO and LnL about what is wrong with their lists.

The two best players in our store can get salty over losses but in general are really big into try to help people with post game advice. Some of it veers too much into the 'don't use that that is trash' mindset for my tastes but that hardly makes them bad guys.

Assholes are gonna rear end in a top hat.
