We had spirit week or some poo poo leading up to homecoming, and every day was some differently themed dress-up thing. I don't remember exactly what the theme was, but I once wore a cow-pattern cloak my mother had made for me. I guess that means I was the closest thing to a cape kid in my high school.... I still have it, and I throw it on whenever I need a last minute costume for a party or something.
