That's.. an inaccurate comparison, there's two people but you don't need to do any of the weird momentum things that you had to in chaotix, and holding down the R button will just summon your partner to your hands to do the team up move. Personally I love Advance 3. But I also own a 32X so take that as you will.

Shoutout to the terribly placed spikeballbird what's blocked Rick on every pass through Techno Base 1. We might become friends with it if we do try to Good End this. Advance 1 is pretty straightforward 3&K. Advance 2 gets Sonic CD and keeps throwing the player backwards and into blind enemies/spikes. Advance 3 levels are more vertically oriented, have relatively few enemies or spikes, are generally half vacant, and just entering the levels is kinda Chaotix weird, there's no automatic progression. Plus with the partner mechanic, I really think Dimps looked at Chaotix and said 'yes, this is the game we want to copy'. Anyway, love what you want to love!

BTW for ZX I just took Omega down with ZX's charge shots. You basically HAVE to dash side to side because otherwise the rear end in a top hat constantly heals. Of course if you have Model X then it's even more ez pz. The real challenge is getting back to the ship afterwards. Those blocks aren't designed to go backwards

So this past weekend, Sarah and I participated in our very first Extra Life with a 25-hour 100% run of Super Mario Odyssey (though after a power outage at 3:30 in the afternoon, we decided a slightly simpler 999-Power Moon run would be more reasonable) and I'm still coming down from it. Ironically, just prior to that, our next Sonic game was a very special race between C/J and I in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 to celebrate 500 videos in the Super Sonic Let's Play! C/J is aiming just to beat Dr. Robotnik, while I'm looking to grab all seven Chaos Emeralds (as Tails) and completing the game. What encoding did you use on the Sonic Spinball 8-bit videos? The pixels have this weird bright edge around them that's kind of distracting. I suspect you used bicubic interpolation; when you're scaling things up, you want to use bilinear, or nearest neighbor if you're scaling to an exact multiple.

Unfortunately, Adobe Premiere Pro only allows for bicubic expansion -- After Effects can do Nearest Neighbor (which would look awkward at 1.5x) and Bilinear, but unfortunately it would blow up the editing time to such an extreme that we would be more or less unable to keep any sort of pace with an upload schedule :\ I guarantee I can show you a pinball game that's far more distracting though... this is, at long last, Sonic Pinball Party.
