He was into UFOs when he was younger. I think he was radicalized into this nationalist/Patriot movement/anti-NWO thing after Waco.

Years ago I was a community college scrub in Austin and became friends with a delightfully old, gay government professor. I mentioned this crazy local guy on the radio named Alex Jones and his face lit up.

There is probably some fuckery with the numbers as that's common in media of all types. I would be shocked if he doesn't do that. (It's normal to inflate.) I don't know how he's counting that, but orgs will tend to emphasize the biggest metric even if it's not "unique" people. People may have tuned into Alex Jones 40 million times ... which is still a significant number but it's not 40 million individuals.
