I only just started playing this game myself and good lord it's hard, but also so stylish and cool. The planet is weird; it seems to be in ruins but what's left is full of technology so advanced it looks like magic. The screen getting all static-y whenever the Drifter gets sick also makes me wonder that we aren't in some sort of digital reality like in Transistor. The giants we saw in a vision in the beginning reminded me a lot of the bio-technical giant superweapons in Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind too. So I guess what I'm saying is I LOVE the style, even if I suck at playing it.
