Yeah, you can argue X vs Y, but at least both of them have a point. They may fit different playstyles, but there's no "that's garbage" class, and even the overlooked skills are because they're alongside very useful ones (the first grenadier skill for example), not because they're a bad idea.

As soon as I saw the Sniper's baseline skill being Squadsight (one of the most powerful skill options in the first game) I figured it was this and that the Jade and Guava dichotomy would be even fiercer this time around :allears:

Well, since I just was overcome by curiosity and learned the basics of regular expressions, let me know if you want a version with a Skippy Granola namelist. I just finished checking it over.

e: holy heck there's over a thousand first names alone
Now the real question is: is Skippy "My Balls" Granola determined enough to take over the identity of over one THOUSAND random names?
Or is anyone else determined enough for that matter?

A thousand first names alone is pretty impressive.

Angry "Grenades" Lobster, Alessandra "Missed" Margottini, Chris "Lethal" Gasmask.

I like giving nicknames people earn :colbert: Angry Lobster has shot many grenades, Alessandra has yet to hit anything with her sniper rifle (ace on the pistol though) and Gasmask kills things real good.

Also Enemy Mechs. They saw how effective the Boosh was, now they have Boosh-capable units :stonk:

Random silly thought: Two Sparks, with Bulwark, standing next to each other. Behold a Phalanx! (that probably doesn't work but it sounds amusing.)

Bulwark does sound like it provides more bang for it's buck than Adaptive Aim since the downsides are easily mitigated and Run and Gun rangers cover the 'delete one enemy' aspect better.

I'm gonna go with what Guava said. Wrecking Ball sounds really cool, but Jade's not using Overdrive enough to nearly justify it. So I'm gonna say Julian get his mitts on Intimidate.
On the other hand, being able to wreck cover whenever he wants in addition to being a source of high cover to move into for missions such as this where there is a distinct lack of any might get him to use it more.

Then again intimidate stacks with more armor and bulwark provides more armor.

Also he probably won't use it more even if he should be using it more.

Thing about this though, is that loot dropped from a ADVENT and Talow scooped it up. It was a superior repeater and PCS Speed, this is evident at 32:57 in the video. Then at the end of the mission I had also found a stock and an expanded magazine, shown at 36:12. Where did the stock and magazine come from? It didn't come from aliens dropping more loot, there was no active loot laying around on the map like a couple people are saying. There was one drop from a kill, which Talow picked up and was shown to be a repeater and a PCS. No where is a second drop made by killing ADVENT. The only guess I can put forth is that hacking the objective somehow got me a stock and a magazine. I don't know for sure but 'it was lying on the ground at mission end' isn't right, or if it is, please point me to the time of the video where a second loot drop is made.

Does Emphenada's gun have a stock and a magazine? That's pretty much the only thing I think anyone hasn't covered, that by getting 'killed' and getting back up, he somehow picked up a copy of his mods from his gun.
