Oh boy, Jade Star going at another XCOM! Can't wait.

Sent in my character. Fingers crossed the random pool gods are kind :v:

Jade if I already sent an application are you averse to me just making a soldier and sending you the file instead or would you rather I leave it be? Don't want to clog your inbox, and I'm not especially picky on my soldier anyway, but if importing is easier...

Any chance we could get you to export the resulting character pool? I think it'd be an interesting thing to kind of 'play along' with the LP and observe how the games diverge (or more accurately, observe how my mistakes snowball compared to yours).

Also I hope Skippy Granola's Banjo makes a guest appearance :v:

The lamppost itself has awareness squares and I've never seen this happen. Do you have proof handy?

It's happened at least twice to Beaglerush in his current XCOM2 series on youtube, though I don't remember which episodes.

Okay. so.. things are progressing... there are minor, very minor, problems with the next updates. VERY MINOR! totally under control...

Also I'm just going to start up a new save file with the big SA goon pool and play a campaign on my twitch stream because I need to play more X-Com while actually relaxing and not worrying over how OBS may have introduced some minor, very minor audio desync into two videos.

So if you want to watch and maybe make a second chance at appearing in the great big jade goon pool, you can watch here - http://www.twitch.tv/sa_jadestar

Oof, that got ugly fast. As a rule on specialists I always got Haywire Protocol so that mission would have gone way south way fast for me at that point.

I love how the debriefing music changes if you've taken KIA. The soldiers on the Skyranger look more somber on the way back too, if they're bringing a body with them :smith:

Yeah, it was really sobering when I finished a mission with a couple losses and realized that the debrief music was almost the same but in a minor key, and your boys and girls got all mopey

And by sobering I mean I reloaded because I am a giant emotionally vulnerable baby and can't stand losing videogame people under my protection :smith:
