I ate sardines on crackers an hour ago and I enjoyed them but this thread reminds me that I'm not enjoying them NOW. My snack was such a fleeting pleasure

But I have really good deli turkey in the fridge and soon I will have a sandwich so I have pleasure to look forward to? I am confused about my feelings I guess.
