Listening to the audiobook cause I had an Audible free trial and a lot of it does kinda feel like a limp episode of the podcast if only cause you're so used to the interplay but I'm very glad I experienced the Matt rant in audio form.

I dunno, to me it says she doesn't take the task of opposing American imperialism very seriously, especially when looking at her stance on Israel. I mean, I guess it's nice she's in favor of some good domestic social welfare things, but I don't think it's wrong to want political representatives that are principled anti-imperialists, even if you think that the political landscape is incapable of accommodating that kind of desire.

Yep, it's a misstep especially in the context of her last flub on Palestine and the skill she's shown at avoiding traps like this in other issues. Most of the leading leftish-progressive figures in American electoral politics are still pretty lovely on foreign policy. Anti-imperialists are right to start from a position of skepticism and she's not giving them any reason too change that.
