the manga is literally constant silly faces. you can go to any given chapter and lose count of them all. the only difference is in Amano's paneling where the chibi faces come up in numerous small panels like this, and oftentimes the chibi panels will be juxtaposed vertically alongside a full shot of one of the girls like seen here. The ways she intersperses the cutesy panels is a big selling point of her work and it's why anime that adapt her works do their best to live up to it. The anime doesn't work with paneling so there's no balance to consider; the faces often get blown up to the whole screen. It's lovely, but it's still derivative. Today's episode was nice. Cool to see Teko put in some work without Pikari babying her quite so much, and I liked having an episode from the teacher's perspective. Also, seems like episodes are starting to be divided into two more distinct chapters now?
