Diesels are always filthy. Always. You can scrub it clean, put new seals all the way around, and locktite everything. It will leak. Somewhere. Somehow. And it will be black oil as soon as you've changed it.

. cleaned out the housing and filled it with fresh. I love being able to work on this piece of poo poo without resorting to laying on my back.

I still think you need a red/blue color changing backlight so it can go red if it exceeds recommended EGTs
