Is Sting physically able to have a good match at this point? The comparison of Edge to Paige is interesting because I thought that the notion was that she absolutely could not have do another bump in the ring.

Edge and Orton will have a good build. They both can talk and the fans will go nuts for them. Putting edge up against people like Rollins or AJ wouldn't actually be as good as people assume. The match is probably going to be underwhelming due to the anticipation placed on it, and Seth and AJ aren't particularly good talkers. Orton is a good talker when he is given a spotlight and over the past few years he has been at his best in the build. Draw on the history, bake in some shenanigans and fired up promos from both sides and we'll get a good couple of months of segments out of Edge and Orton leading to a middling match. The alternatives would probably just be middling segments leading to a middling match. I'll take Edge vs Orton for the build.

I mostly agree but think Edge and AJ would probably be just fine, especially if Edge has to go up against the whole OC. Maybe he could've recruited Ryder and Hawkins for lols. But AJ died last night so I'll take Orton.

It's really the most WWE thing ever to have Styles, Ricochet, Aleister Black, Daniel Bryan, Rollins, Owens, Joe, Andrade, Buddy Murphy, Cesaro, Ali, Shinsuke, etc., and you immediately stick Edge with loving Randy Orton.

If he really did sign a 3 year contract I don't think it's the worst idea to use someone he knows, has worked with a bunch, and is generally safe and the epitome of WWE style to shake off almost a decade of ring rust. It's not gonna set the world on fire, and I don't think Orton would even crack like top 25 of who I'd rather see Edge work, but I can kind of see where they're coming from.

I'm sure I could post this elsewhere since literally no one cares about Main Event spoilers but I'll be safe https://twitter.com/GetDaTables/status/1221959463101485062 I remember back to the Alexander-Styles feud which involved Alexander being made to look like a total geek throughout and people were calling it a push and talking about how it would elevate the dude and here he is losing to someone who's literally never won a televised singles match and hasn't one a televised match full stop since the 4th January 2018 episode of NXT. Hell they flew him over to NXT UK to be a TV jobber - if you are losing to someone at that level then, well, that's not a good place to be in.

I feel like comedy is material and execution and a good comedian can tell a bad joke well, a bad comedian can tell a good joke poorly, good material can drag bad comedians up, and bad material can draw good comedians down. When I watch the Street Profits I see bad material and equally bad execution. Maybe that's all the material. Maybe the Street Profits are just "ok" and can be good with better material but perform down to what they have. I can't say. But nothing about what I've seen says to me "these guys have potential if they get better stuff." Actually its mainly Ford. The other guy is just kind of there but Ford actively annoys me with the inflections and delivery that he seems to think enhances the material. Which is why I suspect that stuff would still be there and annoy me with better jokes.
