I used to love the intro theme because the remote control they showed was the exact same remote as the one I had for my bedroom TV, so I could pretend like I was a Fly Girl every Sunday night.

OP is correct. When I was a kid we would watch In Living Color as a family every week.  The Kids in the Hall wasn't bad, but I didn't really get their Canadian humor all the time. It was hit or miss. I love all of the comedians on their own though. Dave Foley is the poo poo.
