My other, other car is a centipede filled with vaginas.
I was driving by a bar the other night and the music sounded like pretty typical country stuff but then the vocals started and they sounded like that screamo/crunkcore garbage. Is this a thing now? I'm really curious. It's weird because the place is a bit of a dive and I had to circle the block to make sure I wasn't hallucinating and the patrons all seemed to be in their 60's.

Buck didn't follow a lot of the same rules as other artists of his time. Most would record with a studio band and then go on the road with a different band. Buck used the same guys for both and they were tight as hell.

Country music was really good from the old days up through the Garth Brooks/Alan Jackson era but yeah it's pretty dire now. There's still some good stuff among the popular music, I particularly like Zac Brown Band and Darius Rucker, and there's plenty of artists like Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell who I don't particularly care for their overall body of work but they've got a handful of songs I like.

But it's also home to some of the foulest noise to ever blacken my ears and I swear by all that is unholy that I will destroy whichever fiends decided that Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Goddamn Underwood needed careers.
