In a follow up that should surprise no one, the autistic boy in this story is highly traumatized by what happened. Anyone familiar with working with people with ASD would recognize that they lack the theory of mind required to put traumatic events like this into any sort of context that they can deal with. What a poo poo thing to happen, this is going to have sincere and profound impact on this man's development
