there's currently a press conference on state TV with a police spokesman. 5 People dead, and not really much more information besides that there wasn't any shooting at any other place. Man, this somehow doesn't add up. They usually kill a lot more than that and fleeing and getting out alive usually isn't a priority either. There also was this bizarre exchange with the other guy on the balcony who apparently tried to distract the shooter (and yes he was the shooter or one of the shooters, because he shoots at the end of the video at the bulding) He said "I'm german, I was born in germany", and also this odd statement about being in stationary care, which in german worded like this usually means psychiatric care.

According to german news sources, he lived with his parents and his name was "David S.". They apparently took the father in for questioning. Also they say he was a Shiite. They're starting to treat this as a spree killing and contrary to the other guy in france, I'm inclined to agree here. He also apparently mostly targeted young people.

Media reports that the shooter apparently did a lot of research into spree killings (especially into a shooting happening at a school here in 2009) and suffered from depression. His gun was an illegal glock. (serial number removed) The Facebook account that was trying to draw more people to the Mall was apparently him, too.
