The Club MST3K site has vanished. I wonder if they got hit with a C&D they couldn't ignore.

Man I've been using that site for about seven years and this is the first time I've seen it disappear. Hope it's not the big one. Some of those episode links are unlisted on YouTube.

The Sinister Urge is playing right now and man what an underrated ep. It has its dull moments but Gloria is unforgettable.

*doorbell rings*

Crow as Gloria: I'M DRINKING!

"UP YOURS, GUMSHOE"

"LET'S DRINK ALOOOOT"

I love the film's thesis that the porno industry is connected to the crime epidemic that's corrupting the city, when it's really just the one rat-like man who kills women in public parks in broad daylight. Ed Wood would go on to film porn later of course.

My dumb theory that has no supporting evidence in the movie is that the old man fell in love with the witch girl back when he was a teen but was unwilling to go Satanist so he continued to age into a grandpa figure while keeping an eye on her. Maybe he sees Jodie as the young version of himself.

One of my favorite eps that doesn't show up on official channels is 12 to the Moon, which I'm guessing Columbia/Sony gouges the licensing for. The prop budget is so low the space helmets don't even have visors and the movie tried to write around it.

"Now I'm turning on my invisible electromagnetic ray screen."

Mike: "Even I don't buy it."

The guy who directed Teenagers From Outer Space eventually lost his mind and claimed he was Jesus Christ II. I imagine people were willing to sit through that movie just for the girl. Even when she's sitting in the car she appears to be glowing bright.

Anyone else get put to sleep by City Limits? The audio is just so muffled and low. It's also one of those movies with a mindless synth "score" that's all pads just like Cave Dwellers and Pod People.

Still that riff about the cows sticking to the wall of the barn gets me every time.

I recently watched The Thing That Couldn't Die on YouTube which isn't on any of the official streams because it's one of those early season 8 eps that features a Universal movie.

Even though it's Universal, the film is below even Corman's bar of quality but the completely idiotic and greedy Aunt Flavia is a highlight.

"I may-sured the tray-sure"

Really lousy climax too. Great ep.
