Hell yeah. The mechpacks honestly were the first example of modern DLC.. that weren't DLC. It's kind of great.

MW4: Mercenaries online was one of the best multiplayer games ever. Anyone who played with some pubs didn't get it. Anyone who played in a league knew how special it was.

That said I also miss C&C: Zero Hour. The best loving RTS ever, gently caress Starcraft.

Go download zDeamon or zDoom.

Doom 1, Doom 2, and all the Doom mods have hundreds of players online at all hours. You can seriously go drop into a Doom deathmatch in about 15 minutes if you've got the wads handy. People run poo poo loads of servers.

Also I motherfucking hate Civ V multiplayer (I don't know if they made it non-poo poo with later expansions) and wish people played Civ IV BTS more. I hope Civ VI isn't as terrible.

Seriously. No unit move animations, no way to toggle turn/simu mode, stripped out gameplay that was based on the loving console edition.. gently caress vanilla Civ V

Oh man I was trying to explain that mode to miss lady a while back and it was really difficult to communicate how intense it was. Both sides felt completely vulnerable and wildly deadly at the same time, it was great
