 The $40 pre-built bird you bought from Amazon will not fly for poo poo. I'd expect a decent drone kit to start in the $400 range.

If you're looking for video, look for a (used) DJI Phantom 2 Vision+. It was the first version with stabilized video. I'd expect (used) they'd be in the $400 range by now.
