What are you talking about. Sounds like you've got some sort of bug. They were new attacks, sure, but it's just animations. This all could have been avoided if they'd just given the dog a bone.

It's 50 stress at the end of the fight. So it doesn't really matter. you can just put them in a building and de-stress them.

It's still a victory, the beast is put to sleep for a few lifetimes. I mean ,sure, it ate a few of the people we brought in to help. but for some years, the Dark Place Hamlet will know peace.
