Gonna get the remaster but I'm hoping they release a pack with all 3. I love the games. Although I never did play 3.

Also, the humor of the games does these weird shifts from funny to dark really fast.

Also, remaster the wii version, lol. That definitely was an odd decision to port it to wii.

Usually people just wanted to kill zombies, which is easy enough, but there are a few people that felt that they had to save everyone and flipped out about the time limit.

They are being released separately. Most likely at a later date.

The convicts were only ever a problem for me if I was escorting survivors. The survivors would end up getting murdered. But if I was by myself, I could usually easily kill them.

I always wanted to do 7 day survivor but it takes like 10 hours. :(

I remember with survivors you'd ping them a spot to move to then just run along side them. It wasn't great but learning that trick made the game 10x easier. Also so did infinite orange juice.

I remember trying to make barricades in the food court. I need to get the remake.

Its not a remake. I don't even think its a remaster. Its the same game in 1080P.

Also, I am not looking forward to doing zombie genocider again.

I miss having the free time to be able to drive in a circle for three or four or whatever hours.

It took me I think about a whole 72 hours in game? It was pretty close. Also, I have memories of playing this game on my computer monitor because my tv sucked at the time.

Awesome. A little short on cash at the moment or I'd have it bought now.

How's it look on PS4?

It looks like Dead Rising. I mean it looks ok, but its definitely 360 era graphics. They weren't really updated at all.

Unless you were going for a Savior run the time limit posed little threat to you, people are just babies. And now they've taken out the closest thing resembling a challenge in these games.

Some of the psychopaths were pretty hard if you don't cheese the games but yeah the time limits made the game neat. It was always fun to get kind of far and level up but restart to see how much better you do next time around.

Why are these clowns acting like this is anything new? This is literally what DR1 did except it didn't try to beat you over the head with it.

Hell, its basically what Dawn of the Dead did. But I don't mind them changing the game up as long as what they change it too is good. I don't have high hopes though.

I've always wondered how hard it would be to add simple mods to games like this to appeal to a bigger base. I get that Dead Rising (and now XCOM2) are known for the timer mechanic, Dark Souls is known for punishing difficulty, Git Gud, etc. Would it really be so hard to make everyone happy by giving them options for an easy mode or timer-less mode? Tons of games have Ironman, Hardcore mode, NG+, 4 different difficulty levels, etc. You'd think it would be standard on any game with such obviously divisive mechanics.

You'd open your market from exclusively niche hardcore purists to the filthy casuals, of which there are a lot. Many gamers like myself are older now and have jobs/kids/etc. I can't dump endless hours to grind for days or memorize every enemy location on a given map. More options=Bigger market=more sales, and older gamers generally have more disposable income to boot. Kinda seems like a no-brainer.

You run the risk of spending money on adding modes that people probably won't play.

I actually legitimately liked the ending credits song for Dead Rising 1.

It's all good, to me.

Gone Guru is funny as a kind of inside joke, because the song sounds pretty loving terrible. But the song for when you fight Cliff and the ending song were legitimately good in my eyes.
