In junior year math class we had our "portfolios" which was a bullshit end-of-the-year "project" where we had to save all our tests and homework and handouts in a three ring binder and turn it in at the end of the year for two test grades. I don't know if any other people's teachers at other schools did that but it was dumb bullshit because I did great on all my actual tests and then got an F on this because I didn't keep all my old poo poo I already did with me like a god drat hoarder. It was meant as a freebie for dumb kids to get their averages up, so someone who also thought it was bullshit took my not very smart friend's portfolio while he was in the bathroom and drew a huge sharpie dick on as many pages as he could before he got back.

We had a teacher that did this in 8th grade. And she also gave out these stupid passes for like, "If the class is being assholes and I give out an insane amount of punishment homework, my favorite students who got these because I'm playing favorites can turn these in, and I will give them 100% on this without doing the work. And also they get a free A on a test they already took if they didn't already get an A on it."

I hate the poo poo out of that teacher.

Here's a fun thing to do: look up your old bullies on Facebook. You can compare your life to theirs and see who came out on top

I had to deal with bullies from elementary through juniour high, and it was depressing. I was small for my age so any attempt at standing up my self made it worse, and ignoring them did nothing, which the teachers also did nothing. I am just glad I went through this before social media was a thing, as having that poo poo follow you home would have been the worst. And people who don't think social media bulling is a thing, are you actively trying to be stupid or are you just an rear end in a top hat? Would you tell someone just to unhook their phone if they were getting harassed on it?

I wouldn't say they were bullies really because we were kind of friends most of the time and they'd just occasionally kick me in the balls or steal my backpack and throw it in the girl's bathroom etc, but I ran into a group of them working at circuit city when I went in to buy a TV. Two of them got super fat and the other looked like he'd had some hard years with meth. None of them are on facebook or are using fake names for whatever reason.

I did look up my closest friend from highschool though (she removed me silently almost a decade ago) and her page is full of videos of isis beheadings and carbomb aftermaths and her posts are mostly in arabic. Also got super fat and married some guy from Iran. Really almost all of my graduating class hasn't amounted to much.

e: I did find out that the girl who said no when I asked her to homecoming ended up marrying our former english teacher who was ~55-60 when we were in school, which is funny but kind of gross.

In high school there was this guy who was really small and had a girly voice. Or maybe just a child kind of voice. So anyway, eventually I'd start seeing that he was in this vocal lessons room when I'd go to this one place for guitar lessons. And then I'd tell people and we'd laugh because you could always hear this really high note singing. Turns out he was doing vocal training to fix his voice.

So in the end, he showed us all. He became a bone thin, maybe 5'-nothing little boy, who has a comically deep voice that in no way fits his appearance at all.

My brother stabbed a kid through his forearm that used to call him names and throw rocks at him and our neighbor. The kid's name was Josh, I remember watching it all go down, I was in Kindergarten and my brother was in the 5th grade, it was about 5pm on a school day. Josh had been throwing rocks at us and singing some made up song. He had also been loving with my my brother all day, as they were in the same class. One of the rocks, not very large, finally hit my brother while he was trying to ignore him, and I saw him just snap. He charged Josh and spear tackled him to the grass, Josh then used his weight advantage to roll my brother over and punched him in the nose, so my brother fished a mechanical pencil out of his pocket and ran it right through Josh's arm on his next swing. As Josh began to scream because there was a lot of blood and it looked painful as gently caress, my brother rolled him off him, got up and kicked him pretty hard in the kidney and started screaming at him while continuing to kick. I ended up pulling my brother away and we ran back to the house.

Josh's mom showed up a bit later and talked to my mom, when my brother was brought out he explained his side, and Josh's mom then said something like "I have told him (Josh) so many times to stop bullying other kids!" then apologized to my mom and left. My brother got a very big lecture from my parents about not stabbing people and kicking them while they were down, but later my dad would see the size advantage Josh had and jokingly compliment my brother for "Finding a way to win". My brother looked him up a few years back and contacted him on facebook. Dude grew out of his rear end in a top hat phase, joked that he still has the scar. He's a tug boat captain now in the Chesapeake Bay

The next year after that my dad got orders and we went to a different base.

At that base I had a bully named Chris for a bit until we got in to a fight in gym class during field hockey (he had hooked my leg with his stick and then stepped on me) so as I was getting up I called him stupid, so he hit me in the head with his stick, the teacher saw it and he ended up getting sent to a school off the base for kids with "problems".

In Junior High I bullied a kid named Ron for a bit because it was the cool thing to do for those of us in the 8th grade. Ron was underweight, kinda short,0 and would talk really slow in class, which held up everything. One day our DARE officer stopped the class and gave all of us a huge lecture on why loving with a kid who obviously has issues wasn't cool, it actually got through to a lot of us, and I ended up apologizing to Ron for it. After that I made an effort to be friendly to him through high school, where he grew out of his awkward phase and became a pretty normal dude. He got a degree in electrical engineering at some smaller state school and works as a Master Electrician in the Charlotte area now.
