Does anyone else remember Hillary going after video games in the 90s? Maybe most of you weren't born yet, I dunno, maybe I dreamed it.

Tipper Gore was the one who tried to protect kids from bad language by putting those "PARENTAL ADVISORY EXPLICIT LYRICS" stickers on CDs and Lieberman was the one who was going to save kids from blood and tits in games.

Naturally this was all very effective and didn't make kids want these things more than ever.

I'm probably confusing her with Lieberman in the 90s, but she did go on a war against video games in 2005.

"We need to treat violent video games the way we treat tobacco, alcohol, and pornography," Clinton said while promoting the Family Entertainment Protection Act, legislation that would have criminalized the sale of games rated "Mature" or "Adults Only" to minors. "If you put it just really simply, these violent video games are stealing the innocence of our children -- and it is certainly making the job of being a parent even more difficult," she said.
