Add in the fact that superhero movies are incredibly tribal and yeah I'm not surprised it was Suicide Squad that was the final straw in this argument. We live in a world where there is more high-quality media out there than you could consume in ten lifetimes, even if you subscribe to the idea that a 5 out of 10 is average and a 7 out of 10 is above average why would you waste time on something that is merely above average when there's so much actual good and great stuff out there?
