It's kind of fun to walk around the slots section and just look at the vast variety of different themes they come up with for each machine. You'd think they'd repeat but nope, every single one is different (probably some psychological thing about getting people hooked on "their" particular favorite machine). infinite variations of the same thing

video gambling just does not do it for me. now, an old fashioned slot machine where you have to pull the lever, i could drop some coin there. gimme some of that tactile feedback, yeah.

honestly I believed the game was quite fun, but it became apparently I am definitely more on the building/engine side than content creation side. I can spend ages fiddling with things to make the rockets fly right and feel good to fly and add new features.. but when it comes to making more level, to make the game more than 5 minutes long, its like I hit the equivalent of writers block.. it's like I just can't bring myself to do it, and can't think of anything good to add

The only time to get into the stock market is immediately after it crashes and it looks like the world is going to end.

Like, November 2008 would have been a good time to invest a lot of money.

I got some stocks in a drug company and so far they've doubled which is fuckin excellent but we only put a grand in and that's hardly life changing

what puts me off is that it feels like you have to risk a a lot to get a return which might actually make you richer. and I'm waaay too chickenshit to do so

I guess if you look[s at it as a way to earn a wage and spent all day doing it that's different but you probably also need to know what you're doing (j don't)

p sure the best way to make money on the stock market is to get a bunch of other people's cash, put it into whatever and just take a fat fee win or lose. literally no risk and no repercussions if you gently caress up, and if you coincidentally make money you're a genius and get a 7 figure bonus

maybe try that echi

no, i live somewhere desirable to live, so all i could afford would be a one-bedroom condo with no parking and that hardly seems worth it
