I already got a response. Looks like we have an option to vote on a new commissioner. That sounds like the best solution. We need 7 people to participate in this. In this particular case, however, you do have a couple of options: 1) The worst-case scenario is that the money would be returned to individual accounts in the same amount that was paid in. This won't happen until 60 days after the funds were available for allocation, and must be requested by a league member at that time. 2) There is a process that can expedite things, however, if you're willing to do a bit of legwork. It involves getting the league to approve a change in commissioner (to you, perhaps). Once the commissioner change process has been completed, the new commish would be able to allocate funds as they see fit, and the allocation would be subject to a Majority Vote before they would be released. Please note: this process won't become available to your league until 30 days after the funds were available for allocation, and must be requested by a league member at that time. If you want to begin the process of a commissioner change, this is how you'd do it: A 51% nomination/approval of one existing league member who has made a payment into the league must be made in order for the change to take place. League members have 48 hours to approve the new commish and must obtain at least 51% or the vote will not carry (for example, in a league of 10, 6 “change” votes will be required). Votes MUST be cast on the message board of your league's LeagueSafe home page. Votes can be cast by members who log in to the league and post the following text to the message board: "I authorize (name) to be the new commissioner." If the vote does carry, it is the league members’ responsibility to contact LeagueSafe to administer the change in commissioner. During that 48 hour period, no allocations will be allowed to be made. Please notify LeagueSafe if you are attempting to start this process (as you have 48 hours to complete it). We know it's not a perfect process, but we hope it results in action to properly allocate your winnings and bring a conclusion to your season. Thanks for using LeagueSafe. Well at least I'll get my shameful 2nd place prize eventually. Guess I'll have to find a new league next year. I liked this one too. I've been in every championship matchup since the league was started three years ago.
