So here are my thoughts:
My standard in game name is one letter off from one of the starters' names. This thread is going to be borderline unreadable for me for the next few months.

All 3 are adorable as h*ck and I think Scorbunny is gonna be the happiest li'l guy. The look on its face reminds me a lot of Chespin.

I loved the trailer and like how the world seems to have a lot going on while still feeling like a pokemon game. When they did the slow scroll up of the overworld it felt like they kept going forever. For all of the footage in the cities and stuff showing lots of motion in the background it felt like the is very alive.

Also: that sheer cliff right below the icy mountainous region is obviously Hadrian's Wall. :v:

It looks to me like they've flipped the internal and external geography of Britain. The Highlands are still in the north, but the shape of the north eastern coastline looks a lot like Cornwall. The south is pretty flat with some hills (and farmland), but tapers off like Scotland. Might be nothing, might mean they can use Cornwall for postgame.

Also interesting how prominent the trains are. There's a line clearly going from south to north connecting most of the towns/cities. I think people complaining this game will be a linear north-south route will be surprised (I also think the elite four will be in the greyish city in the center but that's just me).

Finally, the industrial city in the middle is clearly based on Manchester or Liverpool (possibly both) with a nod to the canals going to the Eastern sea. Plus there's two stadiums right there, an intertown rivalry perhaps?

I don't have a Switch yet. Any chance they'll do a dope-rear end special edition Switch for Pok�mon? I got me the Batman Arkham Knight PS4 and now I want the special edition Pok�mon Switch.

Edit: Also I know it's too early to know, but if they support Pokebank I hope they support the Alolan forms of the Pok�mon as well.

That last character looks like a mirror'd 4th character on the snow town building sign. Are any letters a mirror pair? p and q?

slope? maybe it leads to a ski slope? That would make that 5 letter word end in a q, though.

There'll likely be a Sword/Shield-styled Switch, so you can look forward to that. Also, the Alolan forms are already supported by Bank and they're heavily unlikely to get dropped off the series considering their prevalence, they aren't Notched-Ear Pichu. That said, they may also become hard to impossible to obtain in future games, so you'll want to transfer yours.

Good to know, thanks! I hadn't considered aiming for a full living dex, but maybe i'll at least get every mon with an Alolan variant.

There's probably some mashed up words here. The P&Q kinda works except for the limited number of words ending in q

If that didn't look so much like a Cafe, Lycea might have actually had something to it.

lūtea is a feminine form of Saffron yellow according to a latin dictionary. Kinda fancy sounding to run a cafe. The rest seem to be associated with diseases or fungus.
