If you use your new ratchet crimper and get the wire insulation properly centered in the inner crimp on an un-insulated terminal then those cables will be going nowhere! I did the same as you and spent ages working with a lovely manual crimper only to find that they all fell apart the first time I unplugged something in anger. Now that I have a proper ratchet crimper they dont go anywhere.

go barefoot/wear flipflops or sandals as much as possible. Don't wear socks at night. Just looks like you have gammy feet.
