If you use your new ratchet crimper and get the wire insulation properly centered in the inner crimp on an un-insulated terminal then those cables will be going nowhere!

I did the same as you and spent ages working with a lovely manual crimper only to find that they all fell apart the first time I unplugged something in anger. Now that I have a proper ratchet crimper they dont go anywhere.

Saab did the same thing but also built the handbrake into the unit too just because there wasn't enough to go wrong and sieze up on it already!
