It is! Tags can't just be assigned to threads with the admin panel, but they can be assigned to forums. What happens normally is a mod goes "can this thread have this tag," then an admin closes the thread, moves it to a forum that has that tag, changes the tag, then moves it back. I briefly moved the thread to GBS, discovered that I was wrong and the tag wasn't in GBS, then discovered that the tag wasn't ANYWHERE. So I briefly made it a tag in LP (fortunately, nobody posted a new thread during that 30 seconds), attached it to this thread, then removed the tag. In case you were all wondering what, exactly, admins do. The answer is "mess around with poo poo and hope nothing breaks."
