Pointe du Hoc isn't a beach, or indeed codenamed. Rather, it's the cliff face and high point between Utah and Omaha fortified by the Germans as an artillery and observation post, and officially part of Omaha's purview.


This is one of my favourite missions in the game, mostly for the "shooting fish in a barrel" section taking down the A-10s
