I saw them live once in 2005 when clown dude or whatever was on paternity leave. So one of the other dudes, pinhead dude or skull dude or... isn't there a nose dude?... anyway, one of them took care of clown dude's duties as well as his own. Still catching up with the LP just hit video 04. I played the hell out of this game, do not remember how I got it, why I did only that I crushed it several times. Bit of wholly unsolicited advice I am sure you are already aware of but for later fights you are going to want to use the lock on function, when locked on if you hit forwards towards the enemy and a punch you will do a slide attack forward that gobbles up a ton of room and allows for quick in and out strikes. This is ~VERY~ important to learn for when you start hitting the cheese bosses. My gang name is Punch Meat Monster.

Unsatisfied in simply killing the Final Fight franchise, the game turned its eyes towards Street Fighter. Thankfully, it was restrained, before it could devour all in its wake.

I would like to mention that with Street Fighter and Final Fight being in the same universe, all the way back in SF Alpha they established that the reason Cody went to jail is just because he enjoyed fighting too much. Not because of killing Belger and then getting arrested so Guy wouldn't have any heat on him. Also for some reason Guy is Yakuza instead of just being a ninja who was Cody's training partner? Oh, also Cammy appearing straight up confirms that this is still supposed to be tied to Street Fighter, which means all of this gritty "realistic" poo poo is happening in a world where people can throw fireballs from their hands, and Dhalsim the elastic floating yoga master exists. From what I can tell this game was actually made in America or at least produced there. By the way, the other Final Fight game they made was Final Fight Revenge, aka the garbage fighting game that also was quickly made non-canon thanks to the Street Fighter games EDIT: Just think about how this game was supposed to be canon to SF. While all of this poo poo is happening and you are fighting a guy whose entire gimmick is that he has knives and is try hard edgy in a hot topic sort of way, Akuma is possibly sinking aircraft carriers by himself. Oh and another unnecessary fun fact all guns and melee weapons have a grab attack function. Knives will gut foes, bats will choke them and the shotgun you ram it into their stomach, pick them up and pull the trigger, greatly amplifying the damage per shot, allows for more use of shotgun. So, if one of your escortees gets beaten until there is almost nothing left on the health bar and the other has gotten away with no harm, it doesn't matter if you defend the wounded person, because damage to either one of them will kill them? I didn't think this game could get stupider, but I guess I was wrong.
