I love Casino

I like it more than Goodfellas by a wide margin

Me too. I saw Casino before I saw Goodfellas, so maybe that's the reason, but today I still enjoy Casino more. Yet my mind tells me that Goodfellas is better somehow.

Also, I love how he cast his parents in several of his films. His mother voices Rupert's mother in The King of Comedy and is Tommy's mother in Goodfellas. I haven't seen it, but I think Italianamerican, an early 70s documentary, is mostly about his parents.

My personal favorite Scorsese film is Italianamerican.

Martin interviews his parents in the 70s about their family history for about 45 minutes. It's not his best, but it's unique and precious. It's also strange how he today looks like a perfect amalgam of the two of them.

OK, so within the universe of the film, is this down there by the wall the same person as the guy in the backseat of Travis' car who wants to kill someone? Or are they twin brothers? :raise:

Every goon should be mandated to watch "The King of Comedy" as part of their registration requirements.

It's so bizarre how that movie has gotten more relevant over time
